LIZZIE & ERIC Featured at Marylebone Town Hall and the Crypt on the Green ELIZABETH & ERIC An Elegant Marylebone Town Hall Wedding with a Chic Reception at the Crypt on the Green TO VIEW THE FULL Wedding GALLERY CLICK – HERE Lizzie and Eric’s wedding was an unforgettable celebration of love, laughter, and London elegance. Starting the day at the iconic St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, they tied the knot at the beautiful Old Marylebone Town Hall, before heading to their stylish wedding reception at The Crypt on the Green in Clerkenwell. — Bridal Preparations at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel What better place to begin your London wedding day than the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel? Famous for its striking Gothic Revival architecture and for featuring in the Spice Girls’ first music video, this hotel oozes history, charm, and luxury. Inside one of the plush suites, Lizzie, alongside her mum and sister, began the morning in high spirits. Hair and makeup were professionally done by Pam Wrigley in soft natural tones – classic bridal styling that complemented Lizzie’s timeless wedding dress perfectly. As a London wedding photographer, mornings like this are some of my favourites to capture – the laughter, the details, and those quiet moments before the day unfolds. — A London Town Hall Wedding Ceremony in the Westminster Room After a calm and joyful morning, Lizzie and Eric travelled together to The Old Marylebone Town Hall – one of London’s most iconic registry offices. The ceremony took place in the Westminster Room, known for its refined panelling and natural light, a dream for photography. The room was filled with smiling friends and family, all thrilled to witness the couple exchange their vows. As newlyweds, Lizzie and Eric exited the grand front steps of the town hall to an explosion of confetti and cheers. The confetti tunnel is always a highlight – full of movement, colour, and sheer joy. — Couple Portraits Around Marylebone’s Cobbled Streets Before heading to the reception, we took a short detour through the beautiful cobbled mews streets behind Marylebone Town Hall. This area is full of quintessential London charm, pastel façades, iron railings, and period architecture. These portraits allowed Lizzie and Eric to share some quiet time together, away from the crowd, as the golden afternoon light created the most beautiful setting for romantic photographs. — A Reception to Remember at The Crypt on the Green We then made our way to The Crypt on the Green, nestled beneath St James Clerkenwell. This hidden gem is full of atmosphere – arched ceilings, exposed brickwork, and ambient lighting make it one of London’s most unique wedding venues for couples seeking something a little different. Guests were greeted with welcome drinks in the sun-dappled gardens above the crypt before heading inside for canapés and conversation. We used this time for some relaxed group photographs with family and close friends, taking full advantage of the venue’s moody interiors and striking architecture. — Heartfelt Speeches and an Evening of Celebration The afternoon continued with heartfelt speeches from Lizzie’s father, Eric’s father, and Lizzie’s sister – a mix of laughter, stories, and just the right amount of happy tears. Afterwards, the couple cut their beautiful, minimal-style wedding cake before opening the dance floor with their first dance. As the music played and guests danced the night away, it was clear that this wasn’t just a celebration of two people in love, it was the coming together of two wonderful families in the heart of London. — A Perfect London Wedding Day Lizzie and Eric’s wedding was a true celebration of modern elegance in some of London’s most iconic wedding locations. From the luxurious start at St. Pancras Renaissance, to their timeless ceremony at Marylebone Town Hall, and the effortlessly cool reception at The Crypt on the Green, their day was a joy to document. Set against rustic stone barns, wildflower meadows, and bathed in soft, natural light, this wedding was a true reflection of effortless luxury — and the kind of heartfelt celebration I love to photograph. A Personal and Chic Celebration From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this day was about love, style, and connection. Surrounded by a close-knit group of family and friends, the ceremony was deeply personal, including a moving reading from Alex’s sister that left more than a few misty-eyed. Alex and John are a seriously stylish couple, and their guests followed suit, with everyone donning their finest designer sunglasses (Ray-Ban and Tom Ford made more than one appearance!). The whole vibe was elegant but easygoing — exactly the kind of wedding that defines modern countryside celebrations. Soft Florals, Dream Dress & Chic Details Alex wore a timeless Monique Lhuillier gown with a cowl neckline that moved beautifully in the breeze, paired with Jimmy Choo heels and jewellery from Astrid & Miyu. Her bouquet, designed by the incredibly talented Bloomery, was a dreamy mix of pastel peaches, creams and soft blues, the perfect reflection of summer in the Cotswolds. Bridesmaids wore elegant gowns from Maids to Measure, while John was every bit the modern groom in his tuxedo from Aristocracy London. Hair was styled by Viv Woodford, with natural, glowing makeup by Hester Lily Makeup Artistry — both bringing a soft sophistication to the bridal party’s overall look. Mickleton Hills Farm – A Photographer’s Dream As a wedding photographer who specialises in capturing natural, emotive moments, Mickleton Hills Farm is one of those venues that makes my job easy. ARIEL & MATT – Pembroke Lodge Wedding

ARIEL & MATT Featured at Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park, London Ariel & Matt A Classic Summer Wedding at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park TO VIEW THE Wedding GALLERY CLICK – HERE On the 21st of June, 2025, I had the pleasure of photographing Ariel and Matt’s beautiful summer wedding at Pembroke Lodge, set in the heart of Richmond Park, London. A celebration filled with elegance, heartfelt emotion, and joy, their wedding day was the perfect example of how timeless style and relaxed fun can go hand in hand. From bridal preparations at Richmond Hill Hotel to the lively dance floor at The Belvedere, every part of the day reflected Ariel and Matt’s relaxed yet refined approach to their celebration. Bridal Prep at Richmond Hill Hotel The morning began at the stylish Richmond Hill Hotel, just a short drive from the venue. Ariel got ready in one of the most beautiful suites, with soft natural light flooding in — ideal for those timeless bridal portraits. Accompanied by her two bridesmaids and her mum, the atmosphere was calm, elegant and full of anticipation. Ariel wore a classic bridal look, complemented by a palette of soft whites and delicate florals. The room was full of quiet excitement as the final touches were made before she stepped into a traditional London cab, making her way through Richmond Park to Pembroke Lodge. The Ceremony in The Belvedere, Pembroke Lodge Their ceremony took place in The Belvedere, Pembroke Lodge’s light-filled, purpose-built space for weddings. With views across the landscaped gardens and the city skyline beyond, it’s one of the most breathtaking places to say ‘I do’ in South West London. The space was styled with a white and green floral theme — think roses, gypsophila, and lush greenery lining the aisle. Simple gypsophila arrangements were tied to the end of each chair, creating an effortlessly romantic look. Matt wore a single white rose buttonhole, staying in theme with the couple’s classic aesthetic. The ceremony itself lasted around 25 minutes and was full of genuine emotion. With a mix of laughter, a few tears, and excited smiles, Ariel and Matt were surrounded by family and friends all seated comfortably in the bright and airy room. Confetti, Group Shots & Garden Games After being officially pronounced husband and wife, the newlyweds exited to a shower of confetti from their guests. Everyone then gathered at the front of the Lodge for the all-important group photo before a few spots of rain nudged us around to the back terrace for group portraits and candid moments. Despite the weather, the atmosphere was buzzing. Guests enjoyed garden games including Giant Jenga and Giant Connect 4, while the drinks flowed and laughter echoed across the gardens. The Wedding Breakfast & Speeches As the afternoon rolled into evening, guests were welcomed into the Belvedere for the wedding breakfast. The speeches were a standout moment of the day — full of personality, emotion, and hilarity. The Mother of the Bride, Best Men, and Matt himself delivered heartfelt and humorous tributes that had the entire room in stitches one minute and misty-eyed the next. The tables were elegantly decorated to match the rest of the styling, with subtle whites and fresh greenery tying everything together beautifully. Evening Celebrations with Big Teaser Once the formalities had wrapped up, it was time to hit the bar — and the couple’s friends didn’t hold back! There was a round (or several) of celebratory shots before the evening entertainment kicked off. The dance floor came alive thanks to Big Teaser, a live band who kept the energy up all night long. With everything from indie classics to party anthems, the floor was never empty, and the celebrations carried on well into the night. We managed to slip away briefly with Ariel and Matt for a few golden hour portraits in the gardens overlooking London — not many, due to the weather, but just enough to capture that warm evening light and those newlywed smiles. Thinking of Getting Married at Pembroke Lodge? If you’re planning a wedding at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park, I can’t recommend it enough. With its sweeping views, elegant interiors, and incredible service, it’s one of London’s most charming and romantic venues. I’ve photographed many weddings over the years and at Pembroke Lodge each one has its own magic — but the timeless beauty of the setting always shines through. Whether you’re having a classic indoor ceremony in the Belvedere, a relaxed garden celebration, or a sophisticated evening reception, Pembroke Lodge is one of the best wedding venues in South West London. Perfect Confetti Moment on Your Wedding Day

PERFECT CONFETTI MOMENTS Cnfetti, Confetti, Confetti HOW TO NAIL THE PERFECT CONFETTI MOMENT ON YOUR WEDDING DAY There’s something effortlessly iconic about the confetti moment. That heady burst of celebration, the spontaneous joy, the sound of laughter as you’re showered in colour, petals, or biodegradable sparkle. It’s a fleeting scene—but captured right, it can become the photograph that defines your wedding day. As a documentary-style wedding photographer based in the UK, I’ve witnessed countless confetti exits. And I can tell you: when planned intentionally (but still kept carefree), it can be one of the most joyful and photogenic parts of the entire day. Here’s how to get it just right. 1. Know Your Venue’s Confetti Policy Before you order anything, speak to your venue. Many churches, registry offices, and listed country houses have restrictions on what you can use and where it can be thrown. 💡 Pro Tip: Most venues only allow biodegradable or dried petal confetti. Some only allow it outside, away from the doors or lawns.Check with your wedding coordinator or planner early on. 2. Timing Is Everything The best confetti moments happen right after the ceremony—when emotions are high, your guests are buzzing, and you’re walking into married life, quite literally. It also ensures everyone’s still gathered in one spot. Bonus tip for photographers: If the light’s too harsh (hello, midday sun), we can work around it by shifting slightly into open shade or waiting a few minutes for softer conditions. 3. Quantity Matters (Seriously!) Don’t skimp on the confetti. You’ll need more than you think. To get that full, cinematic effect, aim for at least one generous handful per guest—more if you want that full-on flower cloud moment. Supplier Spotlight: Shropshire Petals – Dried petal confetti, fully biodegradable and UK-grown. Proper Confetti – A modern choice for colourful biodegradable options with chic packaging. The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company – Gorgeous natural mixes from a family-run Worcestershire farm. 4. Create a Natural Tunnel Ask your ushers or planner to help organise guests into a loose, relaxed tunnel. No need for military lines—just enough shape for you to walk through naturally. The key is to keep everyone close so the confetti hits around you (not 10 feet in front!). As your photographer, I’ll help gently guide this so it feels effortless and unposed. 5. How to Walk It Like a Pro It might sound silly, but how you walk matters. Don’t rush it. Take your time. Smile. Laugh. Hold hands. Raise your bouquet. Embrace the moment. Top tip: Look at each other, not the camera. That’s when the real magic happens. 6. Make It Stylish For those planning elegant city weddings, like at Old Marylebone Town Hall, or country house affairs in venues like Wilderness Reserve or Hedsor House, elevate your confetti look with a bit of personal style: Match the colours to your floral palette. Add lavender or herbs for a sensory touch. Choose petals that stand out against your dress (white on white? Not ideal). 7. Consider the Wind The most common question I get? “What if it’s windy?”Honestly—some of the best images happen when the wind plays its part. It sends the confetti swirling and adds texture and movement to the frame. I’ll guide your guests to stand closer and time their throws to make the most of it. Real Wedding Inspiration Take Joanna & Will’s wedding outside a beautiful London registry building. We captured that electric moment as they walked hand-in-hand, completely immersed in laughter and confetti. It wasn’t staged, it wasn’t perfect—it was real. And that’s why it worked. See the image on Instagram → @jonathanflintphotography Final Thought: Let Go You’ve planned every detail, chosen your suppliers, and styled your day with care. The confetti moment? That’s where you let go. Let your friends cheer. Let the petals fly. Let the moment sweep you up. I’ll be there—quietly capturing it all as it unfolds. If you’re currently planning your 2025 or 2026 wedding and want emotive, elegant storytelling through photography, I’d love to hear your plans. Whether you’re marrying in a London cityscape or a countryside estate, let’s create something unforgettable—one confetti cloud at a time. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautifully relaxed wedding here – and I’m thrilled to share the highlights with you. Morning Preparations in the Heart of the Estate The day began at the charming Channels Estate, where the bride and groom were getting ready in separate rooms across the estate. This meant I was able to move between them, capturing intimate moments from both perspectives – a wonderful way to tell the complete story of the day. The bride wore an effortlessly elegant silk wedding gown paired with a timeless necklace and bracelet. Her look was refined and understated, the kind of style that will still look just as breathtaking in 30 years’ time. Meanwhile, the groom prepared with his groomsmen – the atmosphere calm, yet filled with quiet excitement. Outdoor Ceremony with a Touch of English Weather As is often the case with British summer weddings, a few drops of rain threatened the ceremony. But in true optimistic spirit, the couple pressed on with their outdoor wedding ceremony – and were rewarded with dry skies throughout the vows. The ceremony took place in the estate’s picturesque gardens, surrounded by lush greenery and rustic charm. This is one of the many reasons why weddings at Channels Estate are so magical – you’re surrounded by countryside, but just minutes from Chelmsford. Garden Games & a Laid-Back Atmosphere After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and garden games – including a round of crazy golf on the lawn. The atmosphere was light-hearted, the laughter infectious, and the drinks flowing. The wedding breakfast was served in the main barn, a space full of character with exposed beams and soft lighting. We had speeches before the meal from the best men and groom – heartfelt, funny and sincere. Golden Hour Portraits & Sparklers Under the Stars After the meal, the golden hour arrived – that perfect moment of soft, flattering light just before sunset. We stepped away from the crowd for some relaxed wedding portraits around the estate, making the most of the sunlit grounds and romantic light. The evening kicked off with the first dance followed by an energetic dance floor. We wrapped things up with sparklers under festoon lights, creating a magical end to a truly elegant day. As a wedding photographer with a love for capturing real, emotional moments, this day was a dream to document — full of vibrant backdrops, personal touches and unforgettable smiles. Getting Ready at London Town Hall Apartments The day began in central London where Beth and her bridal party got ready at the London Town Hall Apartments — a contemporary and stylish spot that gave the perfect backdrop for those relaxed morning moments. She was joined by her three bridesmaids, all dressed in classic navy blue bridesmaid dresses, a timeless colour that worked beautifully with the day’s modern London wedding vibe. Beth’s arrival at the venue was quintessentially London — she travelled with her father in a traditional white London taxi, turning heads as she pulled up outside the stunning Art Deco façade of Hackney Town Hall. A Ceremony Full of Laughter at Hackney Town Hall Hackney Town Hall is one of East London’s most iconic and sought-after civil wedding venues. With its grand staircase, original 1930s architecture and elegant ceremony rooms, it offers couples a beautiful blend of history and style — perfect for those looking to host a city wedding with character. Beth was escorted inside and whisked away by the registrars for her pre-ceremony interview, while Lewis waited nervously in the Assembly Room, ready to meet his bride. As the doors opened and Beth entered on her father’s arm, Lewis beamed from ear to ear. The ceremony was a mix of humour, heartfelt moments, and the kind of raw emotion I love to capture. Beth wore a flowing modern wedding gown (designed by Watters) that suited the elegant, city-chic setting beautifully. Confetti, Group Photos & Vintage London Buses After the “I do’s,” the newlyweds exited the grand front steps of Hackney Town Hall into a confetti line bursting with energy — always one of my favourite moments to shoot. We paused for group photos on the front steps and captured a few relaxed portraits that made use of the stunning architecture and clean lines Hackney is known for. Guests then hopped aboard two vintage red London double-decker buses, adding a fun and nostalgic element to the day. These buses are a fantastic way to keep your guests together and create a seamless transition between venues — not to mention, they make for brilliant photo opportunities. A Reception to Remember at The Depot, Carpenter’s Mews The celebration continued at The Depot N7 — a converted warehouse venue in Carpenter’s Mews that oozes industrial charm. With exposed brickwork, hanging lights and a stylish open-plan layout, it’s one of North London’s best urban wedding venues. Guests enjoyed welcome drinks in the courtyard, followed by a relaxed yet refined three-course wedding breakfast inside. With wine and beer flowing freely and the speeches delivered with both tears and laughter, the atmosphere was full of warmth and celebration. First Dance & Dance Floor Magic As the evening unfolded, Beth and Lewis took to the floor for their first dance to “Slide Away” by Oasis — a nod to their early romance and shared music tastes. From that moment on, the dance floor was buzzing with energy, and the party carried on into the night. As a Manchester wedding photographer who specialises in emotional storytelling and refined details, I knew from the moment I arrived that this day would be something truly special. Bridal Preparations at Home The morning began at Will’s parents’ house, where anticipation hung in the air as final touches were made. I then made my way to Joanna’s house, arriving just as she was surrounded by her eight bridesmaids, parents, and a sea of excited emotions. The energy was electric as she stepped into her elegant wedding gown. Gasps, happy tears and heartfelt embraces filled the room – it was one of those moments that reminds me why I do what I do. Set in the heart of East Leake, Willow Marsh Farm is a breathtaking, rural wedding venue in Nottinghamshire known for its organic charm and laid-back elegance. As a UK wedding photographer who specialises in capturing weddings at country houses, farms, and elegant outdoor venues, I was thrilled to return here for a spring celebration that brought joy, sunshine and a whole lot of cricket. The Morning: Black Tie Meets Country Chic The couple embraced a classic black-tie aesthetic, with the groom and groomsmen dressed in sharp black tuxedos – a striking contrast to the rustic setting of the farm. The bride wore a timeless traditional gown, full of grace and romance. Her bridesmaids added a joyful splash of colour to the day with bright pink silk dresses – the perfect nod to spring and complimented the flowers with a bursting blossom. A Ceremony Bathed in Light The ceremony was held in the beautifully restored stables at Willow Marsh Farm. As sunlight streamed through the wooden slats and poured over the couple, the room filled with an almost cinematic glow – a photographer’s dream. It’s one of the many reasons I love photographing weddings at Willow Marsh Farm, where every corner offers incredible natural light and countryside charm. If you’re currently exploring rustic wedding venues in the Midlands, Willow Marsh Farm is a gem worth visiting. Learn more here: Willow Marsh Farm Weddings Post-Ceremony Fun: Canapés & Cricket After the ceremony, guests gathered on the lawn with champagne and canapés in hand. The energy was high, and in a spontaneous and utterly joyful moment, the groomsmen convinced the bride to join in a game of cricket. It was informal, unexpected and such a lovely reflection of the couple’s fun-loving nature. These are the moments I live for – the in-between, unscripted glances and laughter that tell the real story of the day. Lakeside Strolls and Sunset Light Before guests were called in for the wedding breakfast, we took a gentle stroll to the lake for some quiet portraits – a peaceful interlude before the festivities resumed. The light danced off the water, creating soft reflections and allowing us to capture some of the most romantic moments of the day. As guests enjoyed speeches from the father of the bride, the groom, and not one but two best men (who had everyone in stitches with their cheeky stories), the sun began to lower. Just after dinner, we headed out for a relaxed sunset couple shoot – the golden light casting a warm, ethereal glow across the fields and long grass. Evening Celebrations: Dancing, Pizza, Cigars & Sparklers After a joyful first dance and a packed dance floor, guests were treated to fresh wood-fired pizza – an ideal way to refuel before the evening party kicked off. In true gentlemanly style, the groom and his party stepped aside for a quiet moment to enjoy a selection of fine cigars – a classy nod to old-world elegance in the most relaxed, countryside setting. Just when it felt like the night couldn’t get any better, the couple invited their guests outside once more for a sparkler exitunder the stars. Surrounded by laughter, glowing faces and flickering lights, it was a joyful and heartwarming end to a truly unforgettable Willow Marsh Farm wedding. Grace & Jordan – A Donington Festivity
GRACE & JORDAN Donington Park Farmhouse, Donington Grace & Jordan A festive christmas wedding for all the family TO VIEW THE WEDDING GALLERY CLICK – HERE Grace and Jordan were married at the very end of 2024. Choosing the beautiful Donington Park farmhouse Hotel, they were blessed with an abundance of sunlight for a winter wedding and some very good close friends and family to witness their event. With Grace getting ready in the main hotel surrounded by her bridesmaids and her mum she chose a dark green colour palette for her bridesmaids to wear whilst Jordan and the boys chose a tweed effect suit Which was complimented by the bird orange detail. Having worked at this venue before and knowing how challenging the lighting can be in the main barn for the ceremony, this is what drew Grace and Jordan towards booking with me. The ability to capture their details whilst maintaining every drop of light was important to them during the ceremony. Following the ceremony however, in the bright sunlight of dec all guests made their way outside for confetti and group photos whilst a mixture of canapés and Mulled wine was handed out. following a brief encounter with the couples dog who came to say hello we made our way for a handful of portraits before heading to the pig sties for the Wedding breakfast. A brief few words were sad after dinner before the dance floor was opened up Venue: Donington Park Farmhouse Florist: Fredrica Flowers Grce & Jordan – Donington Park Farmhouse All images are copyright of Jonathan Flint Photography and should not be used without permission.
