Welcome — I’m Jonathan, a luxury wedding photographer based in the UK, specialising in honest, elegant imagery for couples who value timeless storytelling and natural emotion.
Since earning my photography degree in North London and turning full-time in 2012, I’ve had the privilege of documenting weddings for modern, style-conscious couples across the UK and Europe. My work has taken me from historic London townhouses and traditional church ceremonies to wild garden receptions and chic marquee celebrations in the heart of the countryside.

Weddings, to me, are about truth — how the day unfolds, how it feels to be surrounded by your people, and how the smallest moments become the ones you remember forever. My approach is unobtrusive and intuitive. I work quietly in the background, allowing space for genuine connection to shine through.
There are no forced smiles, no stiff poses — just real, heartfelt moments captured with clarity and care. Whether you’re planning a sophisticated London wedding or a romantic destination celebration, I’ll document your day with creativity, elegance and warmth.
Why I Photograph Weddings
At the heart of my work is connection — with people, with place, and with the stories that bring them together. I know how it feels to be camera-shy, and I approach every wedding with empathy and calm, creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can simply be yourselves. It’s in that comfort that the magic happens: the unguarded laugh, the quiet tears, the joy that floods the dance floor.
A Little More About Me
When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m with my family — my greatest joy. I’m a proud dad, happiest exploring local museums, the Leicester Space Centre, or theme parks with my children in tow. Golf is my go-to for switching off, and I’ll often be walking my Labrador, Daisy, through the fields and parks near home.
These everyday moments — grounded in connection, joy and stillness — inspire how I see the world through my lens. They’re what drive me to tell your wedding story with thought, care and intention.

My Approach
A Thoughtful, Unposed Approach to Wedding Photography
On your wedding day, my role is to observe — quietly and with intent. I approach each celebration with a documentary eye, allowing moments to unfold naturally and capturing them with the artistry of a guest who just happens to carry a camera.
My style blends the emotional truth of documentary wedding photography with the timeless beauty of editorial storytelling. There’s no staging, no direction — just honest, instinctive imagery shaped by the genuine energy of your day.
If you have specific group shots or requests, I’ll of course capture them with care and ease. But for the most part, I allow the day to breathe. I photograph what’s real: fleeting glances, laughter behind hands, quiet moments before the ceremony, and the crescendo of joy as the dance floor opens.
A Touch of Nostalgia
To infuse a sense of warmth and nostalgia into your gallery, I often shoot a roll or two of 35mm film alongside my digital work. Film brings softness, richness and timelessness that can’t be replicated — and it beautifully complements the modern clarity of my digital images. While digital remains my primary medium, film gives me a tangible connection to the art of photography and the heritage of weddings themselves.
