Each venue offers a unique ambiance and stunning backdrops, providing endless opportunities for capturing memorable photographs.
  2. Popular Wedding Styles in Nottingham:
  3. Nottingham embraces various wedding styles, ensuring every couple finds their perfect match. One of the most popular styles in the area is the romantic and timeless classic wedding. Couples often opt for traditional church ceremonies followed by elegant receptions in grand venues. Additionally, rustic and vintage-themed weddings have gained popularity, with couples embracing the charm of Nottinghamshire’s countryside. Whatever style you choose, a skilled wedding photographer will adeptly capture the essence and atmosphere of your special day.
  4. Pricing Expectations for Wedding Photographers:
  5. The cost of hiring a wedding photographer in Nottingham can vary based on several factors. Experienced photographers with a strong portfolio and reputation may charge higher fees. On average, couples in Nottingham can expect to invest between £1000 and £3000 for professional wedding photography services. However, it’s essential to remember that pricing often reflects the photographer’s skill, experience, and the services included in their packages. Prioritize quality and ensure your chosen photographer aligns with your artistic vision and preferences.
  6. Ideal Timing for Booking a Wedding Photographer:
  7. Booking a wedding photographer well in advance is crucial to secure your preferred professional and avoid disappointment. Home of the legendary Robin Hood and Sherwood Forrest stacked tall with the incredible abundance of major Oak trees Nottingham is one of my favourite East Midlands cities to photograph weddings. Packed with historic importance Nottingham is famous for being the home of Boots pharmacy, the lace market and lace making history which brings in a large amount of visitors and also its incredible goose fair with over 250 rides lighting up the city like it was Christmas.

Known in short as the ‘Queen of the Midlands’, Nottingham is the home to many stunning wedding venues in the Nottinghamshire area. Barn venues are by far the most popular with popular wedding venues like Swancar farm country house, Ashes barns, Hazel gap barn and Dodford Manor proving to be among the most popular in the area.

Being only a stones throw from my home town Nottingham is a great city for me to photograph at. Also however it is a favourite of mine and my partners to go shopping and drinking. A stylish city with a very trendy vibe!

I approach the weddings I photograph in a very natural way with an unposed style. I don’t like to pose. You do your thing whilst I do mine. Enjoy your guests, your family and your champagne without being interrupted. I am very much known as a storytelling, documentary photographer.

Nottingham is ideal for a short UK staycation, a weekend break or even a camping holiday deep in the trees and woods alongside Robin Hood and his merry men. A bustling city full of culture, excitement, a busy night life and great places to eat with fine dining experiences, it could be called the ideal place to visit for a wedding.

From the very busy town square in the heart of the city out side of the town hall, a stunning wedding location to a highly populated amount of stately homes including Wollaton Hall, when the Batman movies were filmed so it is bound to attract all of the Marvel fans. Another favourite venue of mine around the Nottinghamshire area include The Pumping House at Tollerton, which is a Grade II listed building featuring their licences ceremony room with a main hall for the following wedding breakfast with a stunning wooded area for outdoor drinks receptions.
