A five – hour workshop for those who are wanting to learn more about digital photography.
Whether you are studying at college, just acquired a digital camera for the first time or updated to the latest system and want to understand more about photography, this workshop is for you.
To attend this workshop you need to have a digital SLR or mirrorless camera system.
This workshop will cover:
The basics of exposure and understanding aperture, shutter speed and ISO
Metering, and deciding which metering method to use.
Creative composition and alignment
Raw Vs JPEG
Editing and Presets
If you have a basic understanding of the camera or are already familiar with it, the workshop will clear up any learning issues.
I will lead the workshop, which will involve a series of demonstrations and exercises to help you learn.
We will spend the first few hours explaining methods and technical practise before heading out to explore.
After a short coffee break and toasted sandwich, the rest of the session will be spent out shooting around Melton Mowbray.
The workshop will run from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
