ORLA & JAMES The Old Marylebone Town Hall, The Depot No7 Orla & James A city wedding in the heart of westminster TO VIEW THE PREVIEW WEDDING GALLERY CLICK – HERE Register here to be emailed when the final gallery is ready  On the dampest Friday of September, Orla and James had planned their exquisite Westminster Wedding at the beautiful old Marleybone town hall, followed by a reception at the stunning Depot No7 in Islington. Meeting with Orla at the Hoxton in the centre of Holborn, I first managed to greet her as she exited the lift by the entrance lobby. She was surrounded by her bridesmaids all in bright pink, clutching beautiful bouquets of flowers supplied by Fleuro Studio. As we awaited the arrival of the white cab and minibus to take the bridesmaids to the ceremony champagne was poured. During this period Dad got all emotional at how grown-up his little girl had become. After a glass or two of champagne we made our way to the town hall to celebrate the wedding. The Wedding Ceremony James, in a very smart tuxedo was ready and waiting for Orla to arrive down the aisle with her dad. After the bridesmaids had made their entrances, it was time for Orla to wow the room as she walked down the aisle to meet James. The ceremony was short and consisted of two readings along with the vow exchange and the rings. Towards the end of the ceremony, the bride and groom both got over excited and kissed. This was before they were fully announced making the whole room erupt in laughter when they were told to kiss again. As the guests made their way downstairs and out of the town hall Orla and James chose to have a handful of photographs in the corridors of the hall. They were then led  outside to have photos in the iconic town hall pillars and the confetti shot. Half-Time at the Emirates On the way to theDepot, being such avid Arsenal fans that they are James and Orla made a half time pitstop at the Emirates Stadium for a quick photo. This was something I had never experienced but was truly worth the image. Upon arrival at the Depot, all the guests made their way off the buses as Orla and James arrived before welcome drinks were served upon arrival. Wedding Speeches Following a handful of group photographs, the speeches were ready to be given.  With Orla’s dad going first, he sat the bar very high reminiscing about his involvement in her upbringing before James managed to embarrass her in his speech. This was returned however, by the best Man and his words of embarrassment for James. Following on from this Orla’s made of honour really embarrassed everybody. She did this with a wedding video of everybody singing James and Orla’s favourite song over the projector. Following the Wedding breakfast, the weather decided to clear up a little giving us enough time to go for a couple of portraits. This also allowed for the venue to transform the dancefloor area so that everybody could enjoy the first dance and join them and what was quite a raucous party.   Hotel – The Hoxton Holburn Ceremony Venue – Old Marylebone Town hall Reception Venue – The Depot No7, Islington Wedding Dress – Made with Love Bridal Florist – Fleuro Studio Videographer – Bohemian Wedding Films Transport – Routemaster Bus London/ Lux Wedding Car Hire Confetti – Flutter Darlings   Cake – Mou Mou Living   All images are copyright of Jonathan Flint Photography and should not be used without permission.  100 Years of Old Marylebone Town Hall   Today marks the 100-year celebrations of  Old Marylebone Town Hall, a beloved London wedding venue with a century of history. Hertfordshire Home wedding

signing of the register after wedding ceremony

ELLIE & SAM St Peters Church, Ugley  Ellie & Sam  a homely wedding in hertfordshire  TO VIEW THE PREVIEW WEDDING GALLERY CLICK – HERE Register here to be emailed when the final gallery is ready  Ellie and Sam found me off the back of doing a wedding for their friends Sophie and Freddie. Having the amazing Hadham Lodge generously donated by Sam’s grandparents this garden wedding was incredible. Preparations Upon arriving in Bishops Stortford and making my way down the long driveway I could see the tops of the tent set against the house. When I made my way into bridal prep to meet with Ellie, she was deep in hair and make up. The champagne was flowing and the bridesmaids were excited. Having taken a quick 10 minutes to look around the gardens and inside the tent I immediately found some lovely pockets of light. On my way back into the house where I found Ellie hanging her beautiful dress for the videographer. This dress by Isabella Grace was very elegant and understated with an optional bow on the back. Very quickly, the hair, the Make up and the preparations were complete and Ellie was ready to put her dress on. With help from mum she was ready to reveal her dress to her dad. With lots of emotion and anticipation, excitement and interest dad was blown away by his daughter. As they got into the vintage Bentley to make their way to church, I arrived with Sam waiting for the car to arrive. The ceremony  Preceded by her bridesmaids, Ellie and her dad entered the church to greet Sam at the top of the aisle. Sam was in tears thinking he was the luckiest man on earth. The ceremony itself was full of Sam’s favourite hymns. The odd joke was also shared by the vicar throughout. Following two readings, the paperwork was ready to be completed where Ellie and Sam had become husband and wife. Upon leaving the church, Sam and Ellie made their exit from the church through a confetti shower before leaving to head back to the house. With champagne upon arrival, the guests were able to congratulate the bride and groom. Following the small amount of group photographs that were requested we managed to sneak away for 10 minutes for a handful of couple portraits. All before the couple were announced into the tent ahead of Dads speech. The Reception  Dads speech was full of laughter and embarrassing moments for Ellie which she agreed with and found hilarious. He finished his speech by giving her a personalised denim jacket, which had her new surname stamped on the back. Following the main course, the Groom and the groomsman had their say once again embarrassing each other with stories from the past which also made Ellie laugh. Shortly after deserts have been served we had a guest singer who felt it was the right time to start singing career whilst waiting on the group. Yes, that’s correct. We had singing waiters. Everybody was involved. Everybody was still on their chairs dancing and singing as loud as they could. It only took one and a half songs before people were on the dancefloor having the time of their life. After a short break the bride and groom broke into the first dance. From here they never left the dancefloor and ended up on the shoulders of the two strongest ushers to be the centre of the party. as I made my way out, I was able to reflect on what a great day I had witnessed and captured.   Ceremony Venue – St Peters Church, Ugley Reception Venue – Hadham Lodge, Hadham Road, Bishops Stortford, Herts Wedding Dress – Isabella Grace  Bridesmaid Dresses – Maids to Measure  Brides Shoes – Gucci Florist – Sam’s mum and bouquets by Louise Bone [Botanical Shed] Wedding Jewellery – McKenna & Co  Wedding Suits – Groom – Hackett  Shoes Loake Best Men – Charles Tyrwhitt Cake – Annabel Bruce Singing Waiters – Singing Surprise – Aston Dobson Invitations And Programmes – Invites – Katiewarelane and Illustrations hattie_Smith_ and name tags sophieemmajames  Hair & Make – Up – Hair by Gaby Gabygoldringhairstylist [insta] Makeup: Bronte brontebridalmakeupartist [insta] Catering – Anna Shutes    All images are copyright of Jonathan Flint Photography and should not be used without permission.  St. Peters Church, Ugley Ugley, a charming village in Hertfordshire, offers a picturesque setting for wedding photography, particularly at its historic gem, St Peter’s Church. Natalie & Ant – Cripps Barn Wedding

NATALIE & ANT – Cripps Barn, Cirencester  Natalie & Ant their very own summertime ball in the beautiful cotswolds hosted by cripps barn   TO VIEW THE preview GALLERY CLICK – HERE To pre-register for the full gallery fill in your details Here A Party Like No Other  Wow, this Crips barn wedding was like no other I have ever attended with high energy lots of music and dancing from the moment I arrived. Arriving at cute little Airbnb that Natalie had booked for her preparations I was greeted by no less than eight bridesmaids! During bridal preparations having kept a close eye on Natalie’s Instagram feed I knew this would have a party feel. Every story she posts shows her partying in a different part of the world and I knew today would be the same. Once everybody had been made up and was in their gown, it was time for the reveal to the bridesmaids and Dad. The girls couldn’t believe the dress that Natalie had chosen, with off the shoulder sleeves and a cathedral length veil. Dad however, was blown away at the sight of his little girl. Now fully grown up, and looking great, he broke down in tears as they shared a hug before leaving for the venue. Arrival at Cripps Barn for the Wedding  Cripps Barn by the time I arrived had already become a party venue. With over 100 guests ready to see Natalie & Ant marry it was a very busy day. Natalie’s arrival down the aisle with her dad was proceeded by the bridesmaids who all got the front row seat to the show. The ceremony itself was short and concise with two readings, one being a personally written poem by a close friend. Upon leaving the ceremony, the bride and groom walked a confetti line where they were showered from all angles. This then allowed for lots of time for the guests to congratulate the happy couple. During the drinks reception Natalie had arranged for a saxophonist to play mainly the Ibiza dance classics. This saw an abundance of people dancing the afternoon away as they enjoyed their drink. As group shots followed before everybody was called in for the wedding breakfast with the sun still shining, we were excited for speeches. Speeches  Mum and dad went first with speeches being very keen to embarrass Natalie about her childhood and very well succeeded. After the Wedding breakfast, Ant gave his speech, thanking close relatives, grooms party, with a mention to his original best man who unfortunately couldn’t be with us to celebrate. Next up were the best men. Determined to embarrass Ant and share some of their favourite memories they managed tears and laughter around the room. With the wedding breakfast was drawing to close, guests were ushered outside to witness the champagne tower. Natalie began by shaking champagne like she had won the F1. This made sure everybody was covered before Ant did the same. Then very carefully they began to fill up the glasses on the champagne tower before sharing them around. Natalie had also requested for a smoke bomb photograph which was completed on the hill to the rear of the venue. This worked really really well with such a large bridal party, definitely one to find in the gallery. Time to Party  The evening party was full of dancing, shoulder rides, hugs and kisses and lots of pizza. As I stayed on for that little bit extra knowing this party was going to kick off I’m very glad that I did as the dancefloor shots reflect the vibe of the true vibe of the party. Having entered into the competition that I run every year, Amy decided to take the plunge and into last year’s competition. Little was she to realise that she was going to be the winner? This entered her to an eight hour package free of charge. After meeting with AMY and Ben over zoom they very quickly described their plans. Having chosen the beautiful Willow Marsh farm in East Leake I was very excited for them. When I arrived at the venue on the day of their wedding with sunshine in the sky I knew it was going to be a good day. As I went into bridal prep to photograph Amy and the bridesmaids getting ready, the anxiety was hardly visible. Lots of Prosecco and excitement filled the room. Has been arrived and made his way up to the cottage. This gave me the opportunity to photograph the boys inside the wedding venue. Beautiful light filled the room un allowed for table details to look incredible. As I made my way back to the girls, AMY was very nearly ready to step into her dress and reveal to Dad. Dad was overwhelmed with emotion when he saw AMY for the first time. Has the weather was good AMY and Ben chosen outdoor ceremony looking back at the farm. With guest appearances from the swans just before Amy’s arrival, everybody saw this as good luck. When AMY had arrived, proceeded by the bridesmaids she was ready to marry her Ben. A short civil ceremony was conducted before everybody could party. Following a handful of group shots and many candid moments the wedding party made their way for dinner. Before and after dinner, we were treated to a number of speeches from closest members of the family. These included a quiz to see who know the couple best along with a shot waterfall to see who got served first. Following dinner as the evening guest arrived, we made our way to do a variety of portraits before the dance floor opened up. Just as I was about to leave and had packed away my cameras I realised the DJ had started to play a typical dancefloor filler. This saw the beautiful flower girl of around four years old surrounded by the bridal party cheering her on.
