There’s something undeniably magical about a London city wedding, especially when it weaves together two iconic locations — the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square, just moments from Tower Bridge, and the historic elegance of Old Marylebone Town Hall.

As a London wedding photographer, I’m always drawn to the energy of the city. The way the light bounces off the architecture, the hum of the streets, and the timeless romance of these venues create the perfect canvas for capturing love stories with an editorial and natural flair.

This wedding was no exception. It was the perfect blend of classic sophistication and modern London charm.

Bridal Preparations at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square

The day began in the heart of the city, at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square. With panoramic views of Tower Bridge and the Thames, this venue exudes quiet luxury — ideal for a couple looking to make a statement with their wedding day.

As Emma was being pampered with make-up and her bridesmaids were building up the excitement, I could tell how special this day was going to be. With light pouring in over the penthouse balcony I had the perfect set up to capture the preparations.

I always love photographing bridal preparations here. The natural light, combined with the hotel’s elegant interiors, creates a flawless backdrop for capturing those tender, behind-the-scenes moments — from the delicate details of the dress to the final touches of hair and makeup.

Ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall

Whist John made his way to the town hall via the tube wit the grooms party, we made our way through the bustling streets of London to Old Marylebone Town Hall — one of the city’s most beloved venues for stylish, intimate ceremonies. Famous for its iconic pillared façade and light-filled Westminster Room, it’s the perfect blend of heritage and grandeur.

Emma & John exchanged vows in the Westminster Room, surrounded by their closest family and friends. The emotion in the room was palpable as they promised forever in this iconic London setting.

As a London wedding photographer, I always find Old Marylebone Town Hall a joy to shoot. The elegant architecture frames every moment beautifully, whether it’s a quiet glance between the couple or a joyful confetti exit on the famous steps outside..

Portraits Around London: Iconic Backdrops and Intimate Moments

No London wedding would be complete without taking advantage of the city’s stunning backdrops for portraits.

We had planned to stroll through the nearby streets, to capture a couple of photographs outside a local coffee shop. The Marylebone Corner – a picturesque location surrounded by typic London town houses. Back at the Four Seasons we began capturing portraits with the majestic Tower Bridge in the distance and the rich textures of London’s historic architecture. The couple’s style perfectly complemented the surroundings, creating effortlessly elegant images.

I always encourage my couples to take a little time for these moments. London offers an endless array of beautiful scenes, from the cobbled streets of Marylebone to the riverside views near Tower Bridge.

Reception Celebrations Back at Four Seasons London

Following the ceremony, we returned to the Four Seasons Hotel for an evening of fine dining and celebration. The hotel’s sophisticated event spaces provide the ideal setting for an elegant reception, complete with exceptional cuisine and impeccable service.

The reception was set at the Four Seasons at Tower Bridge penthouse suite, with ballon and floral installations adding a burst of elegance using white roses to the elegant décor. The couple’s first dance was a beautiful, city scaped moment that set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The Four Seasons’ team are experts at crafting flawless experiences, and this wedding was no exception. Every detail was considered, from the perfectly chilled Champagne to the candlelit ambience that transformed the evening into something truly magical.

Weddings like this remind me why I adore being a wedding photographer in London. The city offers an unbeatable combination of history, architecture, and modern sophistication — the perfect backdrop for couples who want their day to feel both timeless and uniquely theirs.
