Meeting them at the church as they arrived before the wedding Were all of their guests, friends and family from near and far. As Amy arrived via a horse and carriage with her father she looked amazing with her beautiful bouquet of flowers. Waiting in the church was Ben with his groomsmen for Amy to make her way down the aisle. During the ceremony itself, there was one reading with a couple of hymns before the binding contract contract. The wedding ceremony The 20 minute ceremony where Ben and Amy contracted their marriage was followed by the signing of the register and a bridal procession out. As the guests made their exit to form a confetti line, The Bride and Green could have two minutes to celebrate alone. As they came back out of the church, everybody went mad with confetti, showering the bride and the groom. After climbing aboard the horse encourage Ben and Amy made their way back to the wedding Reception. The Reception  The wedding reception was being held at Amy ‘s parents house. Surrounded by lots of green land with a pond in the middle it was the perfect location. With room for a tent big enough to hold all the guests along with the dancefloor there was definitely no shortage of space. As the guests relaxed and caught up with Amy and Ben, Dad was preparing for his speech. Dad’s heartfelt speech was perfect for the moment and highly emotional. After the short walk from the house to the tent dinner was served following dinner and delivered his speech followed by his best man before the dogs made a guest appearance mid-speech. After dinner was eaten, the band had set up ready for the evening party. The party was very lively and everybody had a very good time.   Venue – Ashby Foalville Church  Reception Venue – Brides parents house Florist – Don’t Settle Petal Wedding Dress – Amare Bridesmaid Dresses – Maids to Measure  Band – Detroit Soul Collective  Hair – The boho Bridal  Make up – Haley Marie All images are copyright of Jonathan Flint Photography and should not be used without permission.  Ashby Foalville, St Marys Church  A wedding at Ashby Folville Church is nothing short of enchanting, offering the perfect setting for couples seeking a timeless and traditional ceremony in the Midlands. Natalie & Ant – Cripps Barn Wedding

cotswold portrait at Cripps Barn

NATALIE & ANT – Cripps Barn, Cirencester  Natalie & Ant their very own summertime ball in the beautiful cotswolds hosted by cripps barn   TO VIEW THE WEDDING GALLERY CLICK – HERE A Party Like No Other  Wow, this Crips barn wedding was like no other I have ever attended with high energy lots of music and dancing from the moment I arrived. Arriving at cute little Airbnb that Natalie had booked for her preparations I was greeted by no less than eight bridesmaids! During bridal preparations having kept a close eye on Natalie’s Instagram feed I knew this would have a party feel. Every story she posts shows her partying in a different part of the world and I knew today would be the same. Once everybody had been made up and was in their gown, it was time for the reveal to the bridesmaids and Dad. The girls couldn’t believe the dress that Natalie had chosen, with off the shoulder sleeves and a cathedral length veil. Dad however, was blown away at the sight of his little girl. Now fully grown up, and looking great, he broke down in tears as they shared a hug before leaving for the venue. Arrival at Cripps Barn for the Wedding  Cripps Barn by the time I arrived had already become a party venue. With over 100 guests ready to see Natalie & Ant marry it was a very busy day. Natalie’s arrival down the aisle with her dad was proceeded by the bridesmaids who all got the front row seat to the show. The ceremony itself was short and concise with two readings, one being a personally written poem by a close friend. Upon leaving the ceremony, the bride and groom walked a confetti line where they were showered from all angles. This then allowed for lots of time for the guests to congratulate the happy couple. During the drinks reception Natalie had arranged for a saxophonist to play mainly the Ibiza dance classics. This saw an abundance of people dancing the afternoon away as they enjoyed their drink. As group shots followed before everybody was called in for the wedding breakfast with the sun still shining, we were excited for speeches. Speeches  Mum and dad went first with speeches being very keen to embarrass Natalie about her childhood and very well succeeded. After the Wedding breakfast, Ant gave his speech, thanking close relatives, grooms party, with a mention to his original best man who unfortunately couldn’t be with us to celebrate. Next up were the best men. Determined to embarrass Ant and share some of their favourite memories they managed tears and laughter around the room. With the wedding breakfast was drawing to close, guests were ushered outside to witness the champagne tower. Natalie began by shaking champagne like she had won the F1. This made sure everybody was covered before Ant did the same. Then very carefully they began to fill up the glasses on the champagne tower before sharing them around. Natalie had also requested for a smoke bomb photograph which was completed on the hill to the rear of the venue. This worked really really well with such a large bridal party, definitely one to find in the gallery. Time to Party  The evening party was full of dancing, shoulder rides, hugs and kisses and lots of pizza. As I stayed on for that little bit extra knowing this party was going to kick off I’m very glad that I did as the dancefloor shots reflect the vibe of the true vibe of the party. AMY & BEN – Willow Marsh Farm Amy & Ben  2023 Competiton winners marry at the beautiful willow marsh farm, east leake TO VIEW THE preview GALLERY CLICK – HERE Willow Marsh Farm Wedding Celebrations      A beautiful wedding venue in the heart of the Midlands. Having entered into the competition that I run every year, Amy decided to take the plunge and into last year’s competition. Little was she to realise that she was going to be the winner? This entered her to an eight hour package free of charge. After meeting with AMY and Ben over zoom they very quickly described their plans. Having chosen the beautiful Willow Marsh farm in East Leake I was very excited for them. When I arrived at the venue on the day of their wedding with sunshine in the sky I knew it was going to be a good day. As I went into bridal prep to photograph Amy and the bridesmaids getting ready, the anxiety was hardly visible. Lots of Prosecco and excitement filled the room. Has been arrived and made his way up to the cottage. This gave me the opportunity to photograph the boys inside the wedding venue. Beautiful light filled the room un allowed for table details to look incredible. As I made my way back to the girls, AMY was very nearly ready to step into her dress and reveal to Dad. Dad was overwhelmed with emotion when he saw AMY for the first time. Has the weather was good AMY and Ben chosen outdoor ceremony looking back at the farm. With guest appearances from the swans just before Amy’s arrival, everybody saw this as good luck. When AMY had arrived, proceeded by the bridesmaids she was ready to marry her Ben. A short civil ceremony was conducted before everybody could party. Following a handful of group shots and many candid moments the wedding party made their way for dinner. Before and after dinner, we were treated to a number of speeches from closest members of the family. These included a quiz to see who know the couple best along with a shot waterfall to see who got served first. Following dinner as the evening guest arrived, we made our way to do a variety of portraits before the dance floor opened up. Just as I was about to leave and had packed away my cameras I realised the DJ had started to play a typical dancefloor filler. This saw the beautiful flower girl of around four years old surrounded by the bridal party cheering her on. Such a great day with a great amount of people all in high spirits for the married couple.   Wedding Venue – Willowmarsh Farm  Reception – Willowmarsh Farm  Florist – Boutique Flowers  Band – Truly Medly Deeply  Dress – Bridal Suite  Bridesmaid Dresses – ASOS Hair – Oh Your Pretty Things Hair    All images are copyright of Jonathan Flint Photography and should not be used without permission.  MORE WEDDING STORIES SARAH & JOSH View Here SOPHIE & FREDDIE View Here EMILY & MORGAN View Here

KAT & STEVE – Old Marylebone Town Hall  Kat & Steve An emotional wedding at the old marylebone town hall  TO VIEW THE WEDDING GALLERY CLICK – HERE A Wedding at the Old Marylebone Town Hall, Westminster  Steve and Kat chose my favourite wedding venue in London for their wedding ceremony. With bridal preparations beginning at the Landmark hotel, a 2 minute walk from the town hall the morning was very relaxed. Steve had the children with him for the morning, helping them all get ready and excited. As Kat had finished getting ready slightly early she had planned a drink in the champagne bar before leaving. Making our way to the bar the sunlight was shining strongly through the windows of the roof in the Landmark.  As we began the short walk to the town hall Kat was building with nerves and excitement. As the ceremony began there were tears, laughter and excitement from everyone witnessing the day. Kat & Steve both needing tissues to get through the ceremony, emotions were running high for them too. Following the short ceremony, everybody congregated on the steps of the town hall ready for the confetti photographs. We then had a handful of group photographs to complete before boarding the bus to head to The Victoria Stakes pub.  The Victoria Stakes, a perfect venue for any wedding reception.   Stepping off the bus in north London next to Alexandra Palace, we took a short walk to The Victoria Stakes. Here, I found a lovely space which was well lit ready for the wedding reception and wedding breakfast. Having chosen the beautiful breast of chicken for dinner, speeches were planned after dessert. Speeches were emotional as there were two very important people missing from the day who were positively referenced. A lovey trio of speeches. The evening saw the family cut the cake and also Kat & Steve shared the first dance with the boys.    Preparations Venue – The Landmark Hotel Wedding Venue – Old Marylebone Town Hall Reception – The Victoria Stakes  Florist: The Blossom House  DJ – Jacob Wheeler  Dress – Love Spell Design  Bridesmaid Dresses –  Brides Shoes – Carvella  Make up – The Bride! Sarah & Josh – Norwich Cathedral

SARAH & JOSH – Norwich Cathedral Sarah & Josh  A wedding extravaganza at Norwich cathedral  TO VIEW THE EXTENDED WEDDING GALLERY CLICK – HERE Norwich Cathedral – A venue draped with history Sarah & Josh chose a Norwich Cathedral wedding for their sunny celebration in late June. Sarah, with a strong connection to the venue is one of a select few who are lucky enough to be allowed to marry inside this magnificent building.  Nestled in the heart of Norwich, Norwich Cathedral is the perfect wedding venue for couples seeking a blend of history and romance. With over 900 years of history, this magnificent Norman cathedral offers a breathtaking backdrop for weddings in Norwich. Constructed in 1096, the cathedral’s stunning Romanesque architecture and intricate Gothic additions create an enchanting atmosphere for your special day. Located within the serene Cathedral Close, Norwich Cathedral is a tranquil oasis amidst the city’s bustle. To marry here, couples must meet specific criteria set by the Church of England, including a connection to the parish or regular worship attendance. For those dreaming of a Norwich wedding, Norwich Cathedral provides a unique and unforgettable setting, combining rich heritage with beautiful gardens and majestic interiors.  The wedding day itself was blessed with stunning sunshine and an abundance of guests. With over 170 people invited, I was busy working all day long. We started at Ashby Hall, Sarah’s parents house for the bridal preparations before driving to the Cathedral. With six bridesmaids I had a very busy preparation room to photograph. After the dress was steamed, details photographed, Sarah was ready to slip into her dress. As she made her way to the chosen car for arrival, an Aston Martin DB6 for pictures I then left to photograph her arrival.  The Cathedral and following drinks The ceremony was very beautiful, with acknowledgement of people who couldn’t be in attendance and also the lighting of the wedding candle. Lasting around fifty minutes the ceremony was filled with hymns, readings and emotions. I chose to photograph around the exterior aisles of the venue making sure to capture everything without being seen. Once the ceremony was concluded guests were invited to the Cloisters for welcome drinks. This gave the bride and groom an opportunity to slip away for a few pictures around the cathedral before we left. Upon leaving the couple chose the Aston Martin DBs, where Sarah had arranged to be taken to the local airfield. This was a complete surprise for Josh as they boarded a helicopter to be returned to Ashby Hall for the reception.  With drinks and canapes on the lawn this allowed time for group photographs and candid before moving to the barn. The barn, decorated exquisitely was dress in white with gold detail with an abundance of flowers. Speeches were emotional with times of humour but generally very upbeat and heartfelt. Cocktail hour soon landed with Espresso Martini’s being the chosen drink for sharing before the first dance. The dance floor was busy, until Sarah & Josh went out to cut their ‘Cheese cake’ before socialising. Sarah then had a change of dress and introduced a cardboard cut out of  a missing usher. This allowed the others to feature him in a couple of compromising positions.     Venue – Norwich Cathedral  Reception – Ashby Hall DJ – DJ Gordon G Catering – Brasteds Catering Dress – Eva Lendel from Boutique of Dreams Bridal Bridesmaid Dresses – Lipsy Brides Shoes – Daniels Make up – Gemma Holiday Hair And Makeup Artistry Hair – Hairsmiths Norwich Nails – Princess Nails Fulham Second Dress – Oceanus Veil & Gloves – Etsy Hair Colour – Dejavu Salons by Claudia Webb    Thank you for all of your helping for capturing these. Emily & Morgan – Bangor Castle, Bangor

EMILY & MORGAN – Bangor castle, Belfast  Emily & Morgan  AN INTIMATE WEDDING AT BANGOR CASTLE, Bangor  TO VIEW THE Full WEDDING GALLERY CLICK – HERE The Luck of a Irish Elopement I was first contacted by Emily via my website and I was excited to visit Northern Ireland. This my first visit to  the island of Island and it was always going to be a great adventure, made all the better by photographing this wedding. After months of back and forth organising the time line and details the day arrived. As I flew out, I knew this wedding would be small and intimate surrounded by stunning landscapes and architecture. As I arrived at the location of the Air BnB for the preparations my breath was taken away by the scale and beauty of the building. A stunning Georgian house with acres of land and details inside to match the beauty of the house.  As I walked in Emily & Morgan were opening a gift from Emily’s brother, a perfect moment to being the story on. Shortly after this the preparations began and Emily was accompanied upstairs by her sister to begin her hair. Whist Emily was perfecting her make-up she had prepared a letter for Morgan to express her feelings. This left Morgan highly overwhelmed and emotional as he finished off getting ready for the day ahead. Once both parties were ready they met for a first look on the ground floor of the house and Morgan was mesmerised.  Bangor castle – The perfect wedding venue Following a small portrait session and family portraits we made our way to the wedding venue, Bangor Castle. Upon arrival Morgan set up a zoom link to all those back home for Emily before the ceremony so they could stream it live. The ceremony itself was heartfelt and genuine with the couple writing their own vows and sharing a tear. We then made our way to the walled gardens at the castle for a few portraits and champagne in the Northern Irish sunshine. Once we had shared a drink and got some photographs we decided to make our way back to the AirBnb to relax. When everyone was back at the house there was a secondary ceremony conducted by Emilys brother Brian. This was a slightly more religious ceremony which was held in the living room of the house.  A tradition in Emily’s family at Christmas is to write cards and send books prior to Christmas Day and she decided to carry this onto her wedding day. With this each guest received a card written from the heart and a book, specifically chosen based on their interests. This was a special and tender moment as everyone accepted their gift and read their card in front of everyone else. At this time, the wedding breakfast was approaching, not before two speeches from the brides sister and father. Both were full of gratitude and meaning making everyone shed a tear.  Florals: Hidden Botanics Hair & Make up: The bride herself Dress: LA Bridal House – Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland Rings: Aardvark Jewellery – Birmingham Wedding venue: Bangor Castle, Belfast  Air Bnb: The Ashville Georgian House  Catering: Dine Indulge (Northern Ireland) We simply cannot thank you enough for being part of our day.
