Wedding Photography That Gives Your Day Room to Unfold

Your wedding shouldn’t have to fit neatly inside a photography timetable.

Many couples enquire before they know exactly when preparations will begin, how long the speeches might last or when the dance floor will truly come alive. Choosing between ten or twelve hours at this stage can feel like another decision you aren’t ready to make.

My full-day wedding photography collection removes that pressure.

Rather than working to a rigid start and finish time, I shape my coverage around your plans. I can be there for the quiet anticipation of the morning, the ceremony and celebrations, through to the energy of the evening—without you spending the day watching the clock.

For most weddings, this means around 12 hours of photography, with the flexibility to begin and finish at the moments that make sense for your story.

Natural Moments, Photographed Beautifully

My approach brings together documentary wedding photography and an editorial eye. I quietly capture the emotion, atmosphere and unexpected moments of the day, while offering calm direction whenever it helps you look and feel your best.

The result is a wedding gallery that feels:

  • Natural and emotionally honest
  • Elegant without appearing staged
  • Full of the people, details and atmosphere you remember
  • Timeless enough to become part of your family history

From our first conversation through to the delivery of your finished gallery, you’ll receive considered guidance, personal service and more than 14 years of wedding photography experience.

SARAH & JOSH
"We loved working with Jon for our wedding. He was super professional - invested a lot of time in the preparation calls and making sure we had everything ready so on the day he got every shot we wanted and understood our style. He captured a lot of personality on the day and even the 'posed' shots feel a bit more relaxed and 'us'. He also flexed his style even further and got some more glamorous couples shots at golden hour which we love."

"Jon was wonderful a photographer for our wedding. From initial contact, his communication was prompt and professional. He arranged meetings as needed and provided clear guidance on what to expect, which made the whole process feel relaxed and well organised. On the day, he made us feel completely at ease and gave us just the right amount of direction, whilst keeping our vision in mind. We had him photograph both our legal wedding at Chelsea Town Hall and our wedding celebration the following weekend. Both days had slightly different briefs and he captured both beautifully! We could not be more pleased with our photographs that touched our natural, candid and genuine moments were captured. We never felt under pressure to be photographed and Jon was seamless in his approach. We would not hesitate to recommend Jon to friends and family!"

Jonathan created the most stunningly beautiful documentary style photographs of our Corfu wedding, better than we ever could have imagined. The slideshow he created for us, as well as the drone footage and individual images, will be treasured always. He was a delight to have around all weekend, and interacted in the most pleasant way with our wedding party of 17 people. He is utterly thorough in all his prep work and keeps the bride and groom well informed. We give him our very highest recommendation for a destination wedding anywhere in the world!!

YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE

A considered approach, from our first conversation to the final gallery.

Great wedding photography begins long before the wedding day. My approach combines documentary wedding photography with an editorial eye, but just as importantly, it is built around understanding you, your plans and what matters most to you.

With almost 15 years of experience photographing weddings across London, the UK and Europe, I’ll help you create the space for natural moments to happen while making sure the photography works effortlessly around your day — rather than your day revolving around the photography.

Here’s what you can expect when working with me.

1. Tell Me About Your Wedding

Start by getting in touch through my wedding photography enquiry form and tell me a little about what you’re planning — your date, venue, location and the kind of celebration you have in mind.

I’ll personally respond to confirm availability and recommend the wedding photography collection that best suits your plans, whether you’re organising an intimate London wedding, a full-day countryside celebration or a destination wedding in Europe.

2. Let’s Get to Know Each Other

Before you book, we’ll arrange a relaxed conversation about your wedding.

There are no hard sells and no expectation that you arrive with a perfectly planned timeline. This is simply an opportunity for me to understand you as a couple, what you’re planning and what matters most to you.

We’ll talk about the atmosphere you want to create, the people who matter, the photographs you’re naturally drawn towards and how my blend of documentary and editorial wedding photography can work around your celebration.

Most importantly, you’ll get a feel for the person who will actually be alongside you for much of your wedding day.

3. Reserve Your Wedding Date

If everything feels right, I’ll send over your chosen photography collection together with the booking form and agreement.

Once everything is completed and your booking fee has been received, the date is yours.

I intentionally photograph one couple per week, allowing me to give each wedding the preparation, energy and attention it deserves rather than moving from one wedding straight into another.

It also means that when your wedding arrives, I’m completely invested in your day.

4. Planning Without Turning Your Wedding Into a Photoshoot

This is where my involvement goes considerably further than simply arriving with a camera.

In the months leading up to your wedding, we’ll work together on the photography timeline, locations, family photographs and the practical details that help everything feel effortless on the day. I’m also always available to offer advice on timings, light and trusted wedding suppliers when you need it.

After hundreds of weddings, I know where photography fits naturally into a wedding day — and, just as importantly, when it needs to get out of the way.

The aim isn’t to manufacture moments or build your day around a list of photographs.

It’s to give you the confidence to forget about the photography altogether.

When your wedding arrives, you can simply be present with the people you love. I’ll know what matters, where I need to be and when to quietly let the moment unfold.

Documentary instinct. Editorial eye. Thoughtful planning.

Wedding photography that allows you to experience the day first — and relive it afterwards.

Your Next Step

If my approach feels right for your wedding, the next step is to get in touch and tell me a little about your plans. I’ll personally confirm my availability and arrange a relaxed conversation about your day.

I take on a limited number of just 20 weddings per year to maintain an exceptional level of service and attention. My UK collections are designed to be straightforward and inclusive, with mainland UK travel included. Destination weddings and multi-day celebrations are created individually around your plans.
