Syston, Grantham Home wedding

I knew Ben from a few years back when we both used to play football for a 5 a-side football team and back then I never really thought I would be photographing his wedding! Since then, Ben & Harriet have found each other got themselves the most relaxed of dogs, and finally found  the house of their dreams in Grantham, where they are surrounded by  the most incredible landscape and have a stunning house which they are currently in the process of making their mark on. This house was also planned to be the reception venue location for their wedding. Having hired a marquee tent to go on their lawn they were able to have the wedding day of their dreams and fall into their own bed at the end of the night.

So the morning of the wedding was relaxed, chilled and full of excitement for Harriet as she prepared to marry Ben. Once hair  was complete and make up was applied the moment which was being eagerly anticipated was upon Harriet, putting her dress on with help from her bridesmaids. Her parents waited patiently downstairs for the reveal and they sure did fill with tears and joy when they caught a glimpse of Harriet for the first time in her dress.
I left the house and headed to the church at this point, to meet with Ben and set up for the ceremony. The church itself was rather tricky, with stone structures separating where I was stood to a clear visual view of the interior of the church. I made it work for me and also set a third camera up at the back of the church for the entrance of the bride! The ceremony itself was very formal yet short in length, just what the couple had wanted so that we could get to partying back on their lawn!
We arrived back to the sweet tones of George Simpson playing guitar and singing a playlist requested by the couple, as we set up for the confetti walk along the entrance to the garden. After a short trickle of rain we headed into the marquee for the speeches and the wedding breakfast ahead of the sun coming out for the most incredible sunset and lovely evening light for the first dance.

As you were all super cool guests at this wedding I am offering you a huge 50% OFF PRINT ORDERS for the first 2 weeks of the gallery being live. The code for this is THANKYOU. To view and purchase the extended collection images follow the link below –
